In construction practice, we are often faced with the challenges of strengthening structures, more precisely structural elements. There are various reasons why structures are strengthened. Sometimes it is the dilapidation of structures, sometimes the structures are strengthened due to increasing loads, sometimes the need for reinforcement arose from subsequent architectural interventions, such as opening the structure to install larger glazing, and sometimes they need to be strengthened due to earthquakes, other disasters or natural aging processes, structural solutions or inadequate building materials.

Mixing the required amount of water with the powder creates a homogeneous, liquid mortar, a ready-made cement-based mixture, which after a short time achieves high mechanical strength.

It can be used for;

• anchoring machines,
• wedges and prefabricated metal elements in concrete, for anchoring turbines,
• machine tools, etc.
• It is also recommended for filling solid joints between concrete elements, and for grouting walls.

DRACO FIX 145 achieves high mechanical strength in a short time (in 24 hours) and has good adhesion to iron and concrete. It is made of cement binder, sand and special additives. The mortar is simply poured into the foundations, which must first be well soaked with water, taking care that air can escape so as not to create air nests.

To fill large volumes, we advise you to add a certain amount of sand of appropriate granulation. DRACO submerged mortars are easy to use and safe.
